Kids Kicking Cancer is honored to announce that the “The Journal of Pediatric Health, Medicine and Therapeutics” (Dove Medical Press) recently published a study compiled by Martin Bluth, MD. PhD. Kids Kicking Cancer’s medical director, with several scientists from the Children’s Research Center at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan entitled Martial arts intervention decreases pain scores in children with malignancy.
This study followed 64 pediatric patients in 223 individual sessions. Over 85% of the children who reported pain recorded a lowering of their pain with an average decrease of 40%.
These statistics represent a remarkable testimony to the power of the Kids Kicking Cancer program to lower pain without the usage of medications.
